PROHIBIT POSSESSION AND TRANSPORT The possession, movement, or transport of aquatic invasive species is prohibited

Under DNR authority: “It shall be unlawful for any person at any time to possess, import or sell live individuals of the species or their hybrids designated as injurious aquatic invasive species and posted on the Ohio division of wildlife website at http://www.wildohio.gov.”
Under Dept. of Agriculture authority: “”Except as provided in paragraphs (C) and (D) of this rule, no person shall sell, offer for sale, propagate, distribute, import or intentionally cause the dissemination of any invasive plant as defined in paragraph (A) of this rule in the state of Ohio”””

AUTHORITY TO INSPECT CONVEYANCES The relevant state/provincial agency has authority to stop, detain, and/or inspect boats and/or establish inspection stations
