MI EGLE and DNR use limited agency funding for things like boater registration inserts with Michigan-specific AIS laws and recommendations. However, the Michigan DNR Law Enforcement Division (LED) funding is currently solely supported by GLRI grant funding.

CLOSURE OF WATERS State-/province-managed boating access points can be closed and boating activities restricted if necessary to respond to an aquatic invasive species threat in that body of water
