The Black River Watershed Action Plan utilizes Ohio DNR Appendix 8 guidelines and the existing Black River 2008 TMDL to discuss watershed impairment problems and focus on realistic problem solving strategies for implementing projects to restore habitat, stream function, and water quality to the Black River Watershed in Lorain County, Ohio. These implementation projects will also employ an aggressive educational campaign to promote a watershed-based approach to local decision-making processes.
